In this guide we will go over the various different currencies available toplayers in Phase 3 of Wrath of the Lich King. This guide will go over allsources of the latest emblems available in Phase 3, Emblem of Triumph, aswell as the brand new Sidereal Essence currency Blizzard is making forPhase 3.

Phase 3 of Wrath of the Lich King has a total of four Emblems available forplayers to obtain.

• Emblem of Heroism
• Emblem of Valor
• Emblem of Conquest
• Emblem of Triumph

Emblem of Heroism can be obtained by converting any higher tierEmblems down all the way to these. You will need Emblem of Heroism mainlyto purchase Frozen Orbs, Heirloom gear and the newly released epicgems.

Emblem of Valor can be obtained from all tier 7 raids and by convertingany higher tier Emblems down into these. You will need these mainly to purchase213 ilvl gear and Tier 7 gear sets.

Emblem of Conquest can be obtained from all Heroic dungeons, Tier 8raids and by converting any higher tier Emblem down into these. You will needthese to purchase 232 ilvl gear, Tier 8 gear sets and Runed Orbs.

Emblem of Triumph can be obtained from all Tier 9 raids, the dailyheroic dungeon quest and the daily heroic dungeon titan rune bag. These are thenew main Emblem available in phase 3, being needed to purchase 245 ilvl gear aswell as Tier 9 gear sets.

Sidereal Essence is a brand new currency Blizzard is adding in Phase 3of Wrath of the Lich King Classic. This currency will be used to purchasevarious Ulduar 10 man Hardmode gear pieces from the newAnimated Constellation vendor.

Players will obtain one Sidereal Essence at the end of each of the BetaTitan Rune Dungeons, as well as one from the new Trial of the Championdungeon added into Phase 3.

This new currency aims to give players an additional catch-up method whilegearing up, giving you access to the extremely powerful Ulduar 10man hardmode gear. This includes many of the best-in-slot items such as Dark Matter, Mjolnir Runestone, Meteorite Crystal andpowerful weapons like Aesir's Edge, Icecore Staff and Fusion Blade.

Emblem of Conquest	Heroic Dungeons Ulduar & Emalon the Storm Watcher Converting higher Emblems.
Emblem of Triumph	Daily Heroic Dungeon Quest (2). Daily Heroic Titan Rune Dungeon (3). Trial of the Crusader, Onyxia's Lair,Toravon the Ice Watcher & Trial of the Champion.

Weekly Raids (55 total)

• Trial of the Crusader 25-man: 5 Emblem of Triumph per boss (25 total)
• Trial of the Crusader 10-Man: 4 Emblem of Triumph per boss (20 total)
• Onyxia 10&25-man: 3 Emblem of Triumph per raid size (6 total)
• Koralon the Flame Watcher in Vault of Archavon10&25-man:two Emblem of Triumph per raid size (four total)

Daily Heroic++ Dungeon (35 total)

• Daily Heroic Dungeon Quest: 2 Emblem of Triumph a day (14 a week)
• Daily Heroic++ Dungeon Bag: 3 Emblem of Triumph a day (21 a week)

Overall: 90 per weekly reset

If you're an active raider don't waste Emblems of Triumph on 232 tier, itonly delays your purchase of 245 tier pieces

A 4 set of 245 tier pieces costs 1 minimum of 240 emblems, up to 270 emblemsdepending on which pieces you purchase. It will take at least 3 weeks to earnthis many Emblem of Triumphs assuming you are completing all daily andweekly ways of obtaining emblems as shown above.

In Wrath of the Lich King, you are able to convert higher tier Emblems downto lower Emblems, allowing you to purchase gear from previous phases. You mustconvert Emblems down to Emblem of Heroism to be able to purchase heirloomsand epic gems.

To convert your higher Emblems down, you must find Usuri Brightcoin inthe Dalaran Sewers Underbelly. Here you can speak with her to convert yourEmblems down a tier at a time.

To make converting Emblems easier, you can use a macro to convert multipleEmblems at the same time. This is especially useful after running multiple raids,days of heroics and so on. If you are only converting a few Emblems at a time itmay be faster to just spam clicks. You can also use shift-click to purchasemultiple Emblems at a time.

X is the Emblem that you want to convert to. 1=Emblem of Heroism, 2=Emblem ofValor, 3=Emblem of Conquest, 4=Emblem of Triumph.
Y is the number of Emblemsyou want to buy.

Be warned when using this macro, you will not receive a confirmation windowfor your purchase. Make sure you correctly choose both the type of Emblem youwant as well as the quantity as you can not undo this.

In Wrath of the Lich King, there is a vendor for each type of Emblem, such as Emblem of Heroism, Emblem of Valor & Emblem of Conquest.Luckily each of these individual vendors are all located in the same location,giving you a centralized location to return to spend all of your currencies.

Alliance players will find their Emblem vendors in the far Northern corner ofthe Silver Enclave, up the stairs just near the entrance. For a list of all gearavailable from a specific vendor, click on the specific vendor and check outtheir list of items for purchase.

Horde will find their Emblem vendors in the central building in the middleof Sunreaver's Sanctuary, directly up the stairs in front of the entranceway. For a list of all gear available from a specific vendor, click on thespecific vendor and check out their list of items for purchase.

Unfortunately unlike previous tiers, the vendor for Emblem of Triumphsin Dalaran City does not sell Tier 9 gear sets. You will need to travel to theArgent Tournament Grounds located in the North Eastern part of Icecrown. In thepicture shown below you can find the vendors for Tier 9 gear sets. Item level232 gear can be purchased directly for Emblem of Triumph, ilvl 245 gearsets can be purchased with both Emblem of Triumphs and a Trophy of the Crusade. Lastly, ilvl 258 gear can be bought here with aRegalia which is obtained from Heroic Trial of the Crusader.
